Massive Bio has entered the Select tier of OpenAI’s partner program. The designation is reserved for companies shipping products built on OpenAI technology.

The two firms had previously worked together on rewriting dense clinical protocol language into structured, machine-readable criteria and on screening patients in real time. Massive Bio’s AI adds clinical and biomarker data on top to surface possible studies for each person, plus referral tools for care teams.

OpenAI stood up the network in June, with Select, Advanced and Elite tiers reflecting partner sales, technical depth, co-selling and deployment track records.

The higher standing lets Massive Bio keep building AI tools with OpenAI for hospitals, research networks, drugmakers and patient advocacy groups. Its roadmap includes a larger OpenAI-linked product line, more hires and training, and bigger deployments in trial recruitment and oncology operations.

Select Partner status, CEO Selin Kurnaz said, strengthens the company’s ability to combine frontier models with oncology know-how and governed delivery.

Massive Bio is careful to position the software as a support layer for clinical and research work, noting that doctors and qualified staff make the final call on study eligibility. Chief medical AI officer Arturo Loaiza-Bonilla argued that AI earns its place in oncology only when it turns complex evidence into responsible action inside real clinical workflows.

The company, founded in 2015, previously partnered with Flatiron Health and patient advocacy group Sequence Me Now.
