Hippocratic AI unveiled Agentic Orchestrators, a system in which a supervising orchestration brain coordinates teams of conversational voice AI agents around a shared clinical outcome. The company said the shift reflects what it learned from more than 250 million patient interactions, where completing one task was rarely enough to move the metrics that matter.
The orchestrators target outcomes such as lower readmission rates, better Star Ratings and HEDIS measures, chronic disease management, recovering patients lost to follow-up, faster access, clinical trial enrollment, and medication adherence. A supervising layer decides which agent engages which patient, when, and with what message, creating an adaptive experience for each person while scaling across whole populations.
Hippocratic AI launched more than 30 orchestrators across payer, provider, and life sciences use cases. They run on the company’s Polaris constellation and pair with cross-platform products including AI Front Door, Nurse Co-Pilot, AI Call Supervisor, and AI Self Service.
CEO Munjal Shah said point solutions only go so far, and that coordinating care across every patient and stakeholder is how the industry moves outcomes across entire populations. Hippocratic AI delivered what it calls healthcare’s first generative AI agents in 2023.
