Naver is pulling its healthcare ambitions into one organization. A dedicated digital health unit will launch next month, the company signaled this week.
The unit will sit under Naver’s tech business division, an arrangement meant to speed connections with Naver’s broader technology stack.
The likely leaders are the two co-CEOs of Senaclesoft, the cloud EMR company Naver acquired last year. Their names are Wi Eui-seok and Park Chan-hee. Exact job titles have not been set.
Naver described the plan as a way to combine Senaclesoft’s clinical software skills with Naver’s own services and technology so the business can grow.
Health has quietly become a focus for Naver. It also invested in InBody, a body-composition firm present in 110 countries.
The reorganization comes as Naver hunts for growth beyond search and messaging in AI, cloud, and now care-delivery software. Whether the unit becomes a real business will start to show after its launch next month.
