QuantHealth, an Israeli startup, has raised $45M in a Series B round. Its AI platform simulates clinical trial designs before real-world enrollment begins.

Qumra Capital led the round, with participation from Pitango HealthTech, Sanofi Ventures, Artofin Venture Capital Fund, Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments, GC Ventures, NewHealth Ventures, Shoni Top Ventures and Esplanade Ventures.

Founded in 2020, QuantHealth lets pharmaceutical and biotech teams test and optimize trial designs virtually before spending on enrollment. Researchers can evaluate patient populations, treatment and control arms, endpoints and other protocol parameters without running a real-world iteration first.

The company will use the funds to advance next-generation AI models, expand datasets and therapeutic coverage to more than 40 indications, and grow its workforce. Its focus areas include oncology, cardiometabolic disease and inflammation.

Orr Inbar, CEO and cofounder, said the industry still makes development decisions through costly real-world iteration. With predictive simulations, he argued, teams can weigh clinical and commercial choices before enrolling a single patient.

QuantHealth emerged from stealth with a $2.6M seed round in October 2022 and followed with a $15M Series A in 2023.
