Flagler Health, which builds an AI-native operating platform for musculoskeletal care, has closed a $50M Series B led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Total funding now stands at $63M.
Backing also came from SignalFire, Alumni Ventures, Streamlined, 186 Ventures, Proof VC, Tribeca Venture Partners, and Offscript. The company plans to expand a platform trained on one of the largest MSK patient datasets that plugs directly into existing EMRs and orchestrates triage, care management, billing and patient communications.
The founders pitch the problem in economic terms: musculoskeletal conditions touch more than half of U.S. adults and drive over $400B in annual spending, while physicians spend roughly 75% of their time on work that does not generate revenue, from documentation to administration.
Traction claims include thousands of providers across 36-plus states within three years, an average of $164K in extra annual revenue per provider, and 87% of patients reporting gains in pain, mood, sleep or mobility.
“This isn’t a workflow problem. It’s structural,” CEO Albert Katz, a former MSK clinic operator, said in the announcement. Co-founders include chief medical officer Dr. co-founders Leon Anijar and Will Hu.
