Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan emphasized the government’s commitment to data security, confidentiality, and the need for updated legislation to regulate AI in healthcare.
The AI system aims to bridge communication gaps between doctors and patients while supporting early detection and preventive care. According to Docus co-founder Robert Sargsyan, the platform tracks the dynamics of health indicators and guides patients toward timely medical interventions. By offering a clear, evidence-based interface for patients and practitioners alike, the system enhances diagnostic accuracy and supports optimal treatment strategies. Its integration into the broader healthcare system is expected to streamline patient journeys and reduce preventable complications.
Arman Hovhannisyan, director of the Blood Cells lab network, highlighted the platform’s adherence to evidence-based medicine and its minimal error rate in analyzing health data. The launch signals a major step forward in Armenia’s digital health transformation, aiming not only to improve care delivery but also to cultivate a national culture of prevention and proactive health management.
With plans to expand the platform across all medical institutions, Armenia positions itself as a regional leader in AI-driven healthcare innovation.
