The fund brings together key industry players, including Nvidia and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to support innovation that enhances surgical practices before, during, and after procedures.
The fund will focus on proposals that advance AI model development, data engineering, and governance, ensuring that emerging technologies are both effective and ethically deployed. Among its first initiatives is a QuickFire Challenge inviting applications from academic researchers, developers, startups, and established organizations. Selected participants may receive up to $100,000 in grant funding and mentorship from Johnson & Johnson’s network of experts.
