Assured, an AI platform designed to streamline healthcare provider operations, announced a $19M Series A funding round on July 22, bringing its total funding to $25M.
Insight Partners led the round, with continued participation from First Round Capital and Kindred Ventures. The company will use the funding to expand into provider privileging and grow its engineering, product, and sales teams.
The San Francisco-based startup’s platform uses AI to automate credentialing, privileging, and provider data management tasks that have traditionally required significant manual effort from health system administrative staff. These operational bottlenecks often delay provider onboarding and revenue generation.
“Provider operations remains one of the most under-digitized areas in healthcare,” the company said in its announcement. The Series A positions Assured to capture a larger share of the provider operations market, which includes thousands of hospitals and health systems managing complex credentialing workflows.
The round adds to a wave of venture investment in healthcare operational AI tools, a sector that has seen sustained activity through 2026.
