Parakeet Health has banked $10 million in a Series A that closed oversubscribed. Total backing for the AI patient-engagement company now sits at $13 million, after annual recurring revenue grew tenfold.
Canvas Ventures led the round, joined by Blank Space Ventures, StoryHouse Ventures and HMC INQ. The platform spans patient communications across voice, text, email, web and fax, handling inbound calls, proactive outreach, fax processing, scheduling and follow-up.
In a side-by-side test, Parakeet’s bot outworked a larger voice vendor, carrying more than double the calls to completion. It also reported rebooking no-shows at rates up to 4.9 times higher than rival engagement tools.
Six of America’s 10 biggest dermatology groups are customers, spanning more than 2,800 providers at over 1,100 sites. Next on the roadmap: primary care, behavioral health, women’s health, eyecare, physical therapy, gastroenterology and radiology.
Chief executive Jung Park said the new capital will fund team and technology growth, added personalization and expansion into more specialties.
