Teladoc Health launched Teladoc One, a rebuilt virtual care platform that places 100% of the company’s fees at risk by linking payment directly to medical cost savings and clinical outcomes.

The platform, built over two years, draws on a unified data ecosystem spanning health, claims, and pharmacy information. AI-driven risk monitoring works alongside human care navigators — not chatbots — to coordinate care across virtual and in-person providers. Teladoc says the average US adult spends eight hours each month coordinating healthcare and uses six different health apps.

The company’s Pulse intelligence engine pairs clinical history with claims, pharmacy, device, medical record, and eligibility data. Care teams can identify patient needs earlier, improve follow-up, and reduce unnecessary referrals and ER visits. Teladoc noted that three in four Americans manage at least one chronic disease, driving $4.7 trillion in annual spending.

“The industry’s current approach of treating one disease at a time isn’t the answer,” said Kelly Bliss, president of US Group Health at Teladoc. Dr. Ethan Berke, the company’s chief medical officer, called the platform “proactive, always-on” care that can address patients holistically.

The launch reflects a broader industry shift toward unified virtual care models that embed AI into clinical workflows rather than treating telemedicine as a separate channel.
