Veeva Systems is taking on the pharmacovigilance workload with agents. Falcon Safety, its new product, triages incoming side-effect reports, assembles case files and chases follow-up information for drugmakers.
The tool works with Veeva’s own safety database and with any E2B-compliant system, Oracle Argus and ArisGlobal LifeSphere MultiVigilance among them. Existing infrastructure can stay in place. E2B is the international standard for transmitting individual case safety reports electronically.
Development input came from case processors, pharmacovigilance experts and safety specialists, Veeva said. Marius Mortensen, vice president of product for Falcon, described the target as the manual, repetitive steps that slow case handling as trial volumes and postmarket surveillance duties expand.
Early adopter access opens in November 2026. The product belongs to Veeva AI, the vendor’s industry-specific suite for life sciences. Veeva serves more than 1,500 companies in the sector.
The launch answers growing drugmaker demand for software that absorbs rising adverse event volume while keeping pace with regulator expectations for faster signal detection.
