Allara has closed a $30M round to scale its virtual women’s health platform, which covers hormonal, metabolic and reproductive care in a single service.
Existing backers Index Ventures and GV participated, joined by Camino Partners, Foreground and Family Fund. Total funding now stands at $75M.
What the platform does
The company combines multidisciplinary care teams with proprietary software. Its tools handle chart synthesis, decision support and provider assistance, alongside new patient-facing features meant to open more care pathways without overwhelming clinicians.
Over the past year Allara widened its menu to include GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, prescription skincare and treatments for hair loss, plus virtual urgent care for urinary tract infections, bacterial vaginosis and sexually transmitted infection testing.
Scale so far
Allara says it has served more than 120,000 patients, with 89% reporting they felt supported in making positive health changes. Founder and chief executive Rachel Blank described the next phase as making insurance-covered care far more accessible.
Women’s health has drawn rising venture interest as founders target conditions long underserved by mainstream medicine. Allara’s wager is that bundling them under one subscription-backed, insurance-accepted roof beats routing patients between specialists.
