nPhase, the clinical research technology company behind REDCap Cloud, launched nPhase.ai. It is an enterprise platform for end-to-end clinical trial data management. The company also introduced an agentic statistical computing environment.
Its claim: raw study data becomes submission-ready output at least four times faster, using 80% fewer resources. A process that typically runs four months or longer compresses into weeks.
The scale problem is real. Citing Tufts CSDD research, nPhase notes that a typical phase III protocol now produces close to six million data points. Much of that arrives from unstructured systems never designed to work together.
Chief executive Scott Climes said clinical data has grown more complex than ever, arriving from dozens of systems in differing formats, structures and types.
The platform is built on Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards. It maps more than 90% of raw study data to those standards without human intervention. Submission assets are then generated agentically, all inside a governed, traceable pipeline.
nPhase argues the economics matter as much as the speed. Cutting the gap between last patient visit and filing lowers cost per submission and buys sponsors extra market exclusivity. The pitch targets smaller-population research, where trial economics are hardest to justify.
