A Czech medical-imaging startup has closed its largest round yet and added a third certified product.
Carebot is based in Prague. It raised more than 1.5 million euros, about 36 million Czech crowns.
Garage Angels and Electron Capital Partners led the round. New investor JIC Ventures joined in, alongside existing backers Gain Ventures and Eva Janeckova. Company funding now approaches 3 million euros, and Carebot is already scouting up to 10 million euros more.
The company started in 2021, the work of three founders: Daniel Kvak, Karolina Kvakova, and Matej Misa. Their original goal was narrower. They wanted to help radiologists read chest X-rays faster. Today the software covers both X-rays and mammograms, flagging warning signs that can include lung and breast cancer. The mammography tool is its third certified product.
Growth has been steep. Over the past year the number of hospitals using the software more than tripled. Its tools now run in hundreds of clinics across Europe, plus sites in Vietnam and the Middle East. Monthly contracted revenue climbed 750%, and signed contracts point to more than tenfold growth by year end.
Investors credit the team with clearing the field’s hardest hurdle. A certified algorithm is one thing; getting hundreds of hospitals to actually use it is another. Backers said the win was pairing clinical value with measurable commercial growth.
The fresh capital will fund further expansion and the next stage of the company’s global rollout.
